Yes my post is a little late but who really cares? Here is my take on the new anime season. I think you know how this works. Now for the more tag after only 4 sentences.

Alright, I found myself with so much to say on Azarius’s post that I decided I needed to make one myself, so here we go.

Azarius: Summer 2009 anime overview

Well, I thought about doing a brief overview of the shows that have begun this summer. And so I will do. The following list is not meant to be in any way exhaustive, and even less objective.

Hello!

I go by HaganeHare or just Hare for short. I’ve been a ‘writer’ for some time (IE the kind of person who gets onto a lot of text-based online RPs/forums, kicks around a few story ideas that go nowhere, and maybe submits stories to contests or conventions every once in a blue moon) but I never really felt inspired until I started writing loli fanfiction. Now I just can’t seem to find joy in writing anything else!

I guess I was frustrated by the fact that anime with canon or semi-canon loli relationships never explored all the possibilities (for obvious reason). And, on the other hand, most doujinshi are very out-of-character at best. It was impossible to just get a good story about the anime lolis I knew and loved. So instead I started writing my own.

Well, after writing one story a fever overtook me, and I knew at once this was my new calling. Now I cannot rest until every loli relationship in every anime ever has a fanfic dedicated to it. An adult fanfic, that is. That’s what I work with.

So, I have asked that I be allowed to share my works through this loli blog. I do take requests as to which series to base my next story off of, and sometimes requests as to actual story content as long as it’s not fetish-y. My stories focus on romantic relationships between characters and their development, usually culminating in a single romantic scene. Obviously there will be variables to this, but you should come to expect it in the majority of my stories. Hopefully this won’t get repetitive… I’ll try to always have something to spice up my stories for everyone.

Avalon: Tayutama: Kiss on my Deity Review

This anime was about as good as I expected it too be…not very. Some supernatural anime just aren’t that great. I didn’t like the anime enough to take the time to take my own screenshots so the pics on this review are pics I found online and are most likely from the visual novel and not the anime lol.

Avalon: K-On! Review

K-On! from what I’ve heard has been compared to The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya quite a lot and I ask why? K-On is not as good as Melancholy. Okay, maybe the characters are about as entertaining in both (at least in a slice-of-life sense), but that is it. I’m not saying I dislike K-On! because I don’t, but it is just not as amazing as a lot of people seem to think it is.

Important information for everyone

With the fact that I am going to be preparing for Japan, which means a lot of studying needs to be done among other things, I have very little extra time. However, I still do have time for somethings. So I have to prioritize.

Anime Reviews
I am going to leave these to Avalon for now on. All the other prophets can write reviews too, but I can’t right now. Even though there are a lot of Animes I want to yell about, I have to choose what is more important.

I haven’t really worked on this very much lately. I think I have figured out why too.

Imagine this blog as our apartment. We can’t be stuck in this apartment forever, but it is comfortable here. We started building a house. We started and finished the garage, that is it. The rest of the house doesn’t even have the structure built yet, which makes for sloppy design.

Basically, what I am saying is that I was making the web page 1 piece at a time. Instead, I think the better place to start is make the foundation of the webpage first. Get the database ready for all that I have planned. Then, build the rest and release it all at once, after all, we can’t all live in a garage.

What I am going to do here in the next week is tear down the webpage, delete the database, and start over. I will use what I have made so far, but make it better. I am going to make a beta server on my laptop and test it all on there and release it once I have what we have already, private messages, and forum done. I think this may be the only way I can motivate myself to do this since I am doing this alone. If anyone is good with PHP and Mysql and knows how to use EasyPHP (an easy tool that comes with php, apache, and mysql pre-setup.), and is willing to help, please contact me wej@animeloli.com

Loli Bible
I will probably be doing this above everything else. I am going to try and get at least the first part of mine done before I go to Japan. I want to put everybody’s first chapter live at the same time though, so hopefully the other prophets can find time for this too.

Other
I would like to welcome our newest addition to our team, HaganeHare. He is a loli fanfiction writer, and will be writing and posting a lot of loli fanfiction. He isn’t a Loli prophet yet, but who knows what the future might hold.

Also, Shortman will be gone for a week. He is at some camp somewhere molesting little kids… lol. If he ever did that he wouldn’t be able to be a prophet for the loli bible anymore. He is still going to be gone for a week though, at a camp…

Avalon: Higashi no Eden (Eden of the East) Review

I’m getting rusty at this since its been so long since my last review…hopefully I’ll start writing more. Anyway, this anime was too short. Seriously though, they could have made this into a 24 episode anime and it still would have been great if not better. I don’t really know how to classify this anime…part mystery I guess…what else? It was original I will say that. I was hooked from the 1st episode because I had no idea where the hell it was going to go.

Wej: Higashi no Eden (Eden of the East) Review

YAY!! Eden of the East, one of the more enjoyable animes of this Spring season 2009. And here is the review!!!

Takamichi Artwork

One artist that is known – either by his name or his style – to most lolicons is undeniably Takamichi. And that is no surprise, as he draws the covers of Comic LO. But what truly makes Takamichi stand out when we compare his works to these of other artists of the loli niche is their rather prudish nature.

In fact, the majority of Takamichi’s drawings feature no nudity at all, and these that do have more common points with paintings from the renaissance than with actual hardcore porn.

That calls for an actual appreciation of the artistic value of his artwork through a gallery punctuated by a few comments.
To start off, I have made a poster out of the next picture, which is one of my favourite pieces of art regardless of style or content.
